LANCE BURTON BECOMES SOCIETY OF AMERICAN MAGICIANS SPOKESPERSON FOR MAGIC FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

Las Vegas magician, Lance Burton, has agreed to become the National Spokesperson for the unique new program sponsored by the Society of American Magicians, Magic for Special Education. Lance is featured in the introduction portion of a 30-minute videotape which will be distributed to instructors in the field of Special Education to teach them the magic which they, in turn, will teach their special education students to perform. He also appears on a poster which will be distributed to all classrooms which incorporate this program into their curriculum. An image of the poster may be found in the right-hand column of this page.

KIRK SCHOOL, LADUE, MO IMPLEMENTS MAGIC FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

In March, Harry Monti visited the Kirk Day School to welcome the students into the Society of American Magicians Magic for Special Education Program. The Learning Disabilities class has selected the first trick that they wish to learn and are eagerly anticipating the day when they will be able to perform an entire show! GOOD LUCK TO THE KIRK KIDS!
