Please allow me to welcome you to the website for The Society of American Magicians, the oldest and most prestigious magic society in the world.

It is my honor and privilege to serve as President for the year 2007-2008. As the 91st President in a 105 year history, I follow the footsteps of many greats. From the founding president, Dr. Golden Mortimer who presided at the inception in 1902 to perhaps the best known of the presidents, the 11th, Harry Houdini to many of those who followed them, each has left their mark and blazed a positive trail.

I hope that with your support and help, I too can leave a positive trail and that as a team, we can, through dedication and teamwork make the S.A.M. grow. This truly is a society we should all have "pride of membership in". While I am President remember that you "have a friend in the S.A.M."
