Christopher Weed  of  Showtime Magic Products  spearheaded an effort that  raised  more than $9500.00 in donations for the  “Disaster Relief Fund” of the Society of American Magicians’ Magic Endowment  Fund.  The MEF assists magicians and allied artists (clowns, jugglers, face painters, balloon artists,  etc.)who  have suffered losses from recent  national disasters  such  as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes and fires.   Recipients do not have to be members of the  S.A.M to apply.  (www.magisam.com)

The Society  wishes to  publicly thank Mr. Christopher Weed for organizing this effort and to all of those who contributed to the Fund. Through his website Mr. Weed raised money by offering raffle  prizes to donors who supported the effort.  Many  dealers sponsored gifts. We thank all who participated in the Hurricane relief efforts in Texas, Louisiana and Florida.

Winners of the prizes and the prize sponsors are listed on Facebook www.facebook.com/ShowtimeMagicProducts   LLC

Thanks again to all who supported this effort.
