The Tokyo Trickery of
Yosuke Kobayashi
This month, our Regional Vice President for Japan, Steve Marshall, who’s also our most honorable
trick writer-upper and illustrative photographer for "Asian Astonishments," turns his talents toward
cinéma vérité. That means he took along his trusty video camera when he met up with February’s featured
magician Yosuke Kobayashi, at a Starbuck’s in Tokyo. And once they’d decided on the tricks
that were going to be taught in M-U-M, Steve digitally documented Yosuke performing them and
uploaded the clips to YouTube! Here there are:
Be warned that these are performance-only videos. You will have to go to the "Asian
