About the Program

This will be an adventure in mentoring and helping each other to perform educational shows for the public in schools and events. The magical door is now open. We don't want to just do one topic in this forum. We want everyone to participate. As we grow, we can add many great and information topics to this platform. Schools and venues are constantly looking for new ways to teach children different subjects. Sesame Street has been doing it for years. If a child is entertained, they will listen to what you have to say. So let's work together to try to make this the program it was intended to be. If you have a topic, trick, routine or even a puppet script to add to our journey, please feel free to include it here.

During this magical experience, We will hope to shed some light on performing school shows, wardrobe, dealing with school officials and how to act in front of your audience. We want to emphasize that these materials are not for just school performers. We believe you will find a wealth of material to use for any venue. We will enlist any performer that is ready and willing to keep these great Mentoring ideas going. So let's start sharing!

About the Chairman

Hello, My name is Bob Carroll. Who? I am one of the great unknown magicians and ventriloquists that you never really hear about in any magazines of magic. I was asked if I would like this assignment to help the SAM do the Sharing Awareness Mentoring program. Why me? Well I am a performer who has done over 12,000 school shows in 25 years. So I guess that might make me a semi-expert in school assembly programs. I have done shows about safety, drug awareness, bullies and peer pressure for grades K-6th grade. I have used magic and ventriloquism in schools across New England performing and teaching children every day of the school year. So that is why the SAM president Mark Weidhass decided that I should be the person to help out with this new venture.
