 Seven Great Young Magicians to Appear in "Stars of Tomorrow" Show

Posted May 25, 2010 - Producer Marlene Clark announced the names of seven young magicians who will perform at the "Stars of Tomorrow" show in Atlanta, Georgia, during the S.A.M. Annual Convention June 30 – July 3. Two British magicians will join five U.S. performers. Their age ranges from 11 to 17, and they are: Megan Knowles Bacon (London, England), Derek McKee (Centennial, Colorado), Reuben Moreland (New York City), Ian Rich (Canton, Massachusetts), Jacob Roeber (Superior, Wisconsin), Stephen Williams ( Liverpool, England) and Benjamin Zabin (Greenwich, Connecticut).  Eric Jones Added to S.A.M. Convention Close-Up Roster

Posted January 8, 2010 - RG Smith, producer of the S.A.M. convention shows announced the addition of Eric Jones to the list of great close-up performers to appear June 30 thru July 3 at the Society's annual convention in Atlanta, GA. The young performer best known for his unique card and coin effects has gained accolades for his work at the Magic Castle, Fechters FFFF convention, at the World Magic Seminar and at Bob Little's Super Sunday and has been featured at IBM and SAM magic club lectures around the country. Mr. Jones will join other close-up artists such as Aldo Colombini, Arthur Trace, Dan Garrett and Rachel Colombini, all of whom will also be lecturing at the convention as will Ice McDonald, David Goodsell and the "Balloon Guys".  Four Great Gala Shows Announced for Atlanta Convention!

Posted December 10, 2009 - The Society of American Magicians will feature four great Gala theme shows at its convention beginning June 30 to July 3 in Atlanta, Georgia. The convention will be held at the Hilton.

The Wednesday opening night show "Amazing Atlanta" will be emceed by Debbie Leifer with an array of well known Georgian magicians: Arthur Atsma, James Brandon, Bill Clary, Ken Scott, Paul Sponaugle and Joe M. Turner.

Thursday's contest show is "Brad Jacobs - People's Choice" show.

The Friday feature entitled "Rising Stars, Magic's Great Young Professionals, Part 1" introduces five up and coming magic stars such as Dylan Ace, Trigg Burrage, Kyle Eschen, Omnar Ferret and the colorful Reed Sisters.

Saturday's "Great American Magic Convention pectacular" stars Aldo Colombini and Rachel Colombini, Ice McDonald, Stoil and Ekaterina, Michael Tallon, Arthur Trace and Tim Wright as "Skilldini"

 Bob Little to be honored by the Society of American Magicians
S.A.M. Houdini Broken Wand Ceremony Attendees

Posted November 22, 2009 - Society of American Magicians Conference Executive John Apperson announced that Life Member Bob Little will be the 2010 honoree at the National Convention to be held in Atlanta, Georgia (June 30-July 3). Bob is an honorary member of the Society and is best known as the "Wiz", a long time dealer at conventions around the world. Click the image to enlarge.
