SOCIETY OF AMERICAN MAGICIANS' CONVENTION TO HOST FOUR PUBLIC SHOWS FOR BUFFALO
The Society of American Magicians Annual Convention is coming to the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo, July 15-16-17-18. The 107
year old Society will bring an estimated 500 magicians and their families to the city holding contests, special events and magic shows.

June 9, 2009 JUNE 20 DEADLINE! The Society of American Magicians special convention room rates expire on JUNE 20 -- After that date the Buffalo hotel rates go up. If you are not already registered at the hotel please do so immediately. Niagara Falls is a popular tourist spot and the hotel expects to be sold out for the weekend during our convention. Be sure you have your room booked! June 15, 2009 BRAD JACOBS TO APPEAR ON STAGE IN BUFFALO Brad Jacobs has bee added to the roster of the "Past and Present Presidents" show in Buffalo July 15.
He was National President in 1970-1971 and while producing many Convention Shows has not performed in one in many years. Brad has been a member

May 27, 2009 "STARS OF TOMORROW SHOW" SET FOR BUFFALO Producer Marlene Clark announced the lineup of young member performers to appear at the S.A.M; National Convention in Buffalo NY. The "Stars of Tomorrow" Shows have been highlights of many convention s and this year promises to be no exception. From more than thirty applications, Ms. Clark had the task of evaluating acts combining skill, creativity and personality. The young performers ranging from ages 11 to 17 come from all parts of the United States with two from outside the country.
Fifteen year old Trevor Motycka from Illinois, emcees the show. Also on the bill are 11 year old Iosyp Kovkiv from Pennsylvania, David Mlakar (Age 16) of Ohio, assisted by his sister Nicki, Melissa Russo (Age 12) from Connecticut, Long Island youngster T.J Tana (16), plus two youngsters from the UK. Jack Gleadow (age 14) comes from of East Yorkshire and 17 year old Edward Hilsum who hails from Kent.
The show will have everything from birds, manipulations, stage illusion, comedy and silk magic. See it the S.A.M National Convention, July 15-16-17-18. May 10, 2009 ALTERNATE ACTIVITIES ADDED TO JULY CONVENTION On Friday July 17 a bus leaves Buffalo for a day in Canada — an offer to see the Greg Frewin Show- Eric Decamps, Pure Magic show and sight seeing (Niagara Falls). Passports are required... but what if you don't have a passport for everyone in your group?
Well, you won't be stranded in Buffalo with nothing do - Bruce Chadwick will perform his fabulous illusion show back at the hotel and there will be a a surprise lecture and plenty of dealers who will keep you company if you want to sleep in!

April 10, 2009 SASQUATCH SIGHTING IN BUFFALO! Here is a headline you may see in the Buffalo papers on July 18. We will meet the great BIG FOOT live on stage along with Phil Morris during his talk on "Ghost Show in Magic" at the convention Friday night (after we return from a Canadian afternoon.)
