Preliminary Youth Convention Schedule
(April 2006)
Quick Convention Links:
The following are some of the activities planned for youth (ages 7
through 17) for the S.A.M. convention in Louisville. This is not final,
as some changes may have to be made. However, this gives some idea as
to what to expect! There will also be an area devoted to the teenagers
to congregate.
- Opening/welcome and introduction of the scavenger hunt that will last
the duration of the convention (includes finding out historical facts)
- autograph party
- Kids Do Magic for Kids--one session for ages 7-12 and one for 13-18
- teaching session
- lecture/workshop on ventriloquism
- lecture/workshop on using story telling to perform magic
- "Stars of Tomorrow" show--a definite highlight of the entire convention
- lecture/workshop on taking a commercial trick and making it your own
- round-table workshop
