May 26, 2006 - Producer Hope Anderson announced the lineup for the July 14th Stars of Tomorrow Show. This is the 16th annual show featuring:

Joe Ray, from Shrewsbury, England, is a member of the Magic Circle's Young Magicians Club and will perform a coin manipulation act.	Sterling Dietz, from Ferndale, Washington, recently won first place at the World Magic Seminar.	Sixteen-year-old Kayla Drescher, of Wallingford, Connecticut, will emcee the show
Michael Platt, from Kettering, Ohio, will entertain with a baseball-themed manipulation act.	Twelve-year-old Shari Nelson, from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, will perform her lively dove act.	Kevin and Matthew Puckett, from Aloha, Oregon, will close the show with their comical and skillful sibling rivalry routine.

This show has always been a highlight of the convention and this year is no exception - Don't miss it!

February 20, 2006 - Surveys have requested smaller rooms for real "close" viewing will be a highlight of the S.A.M Convention in Louisville July 12-15. Everyone will SEE the performers at the Close-Up Gala. Here are five performers announced by producer RG Smith. (Click the images to enlarge)

STEVE BARGATZE- Don-t be fooled by his charm, down home character and good Looks. You will be fooled by his incredible skills combining great magic and comedy.

JAMES HARGRAVE- Although he claims to be an ugly, unwanted child left on a doorstep by aliens, the truth is that James is great motivational speaker who has "magished" around the USA and in South America. He comes to us fron Nashville where he is also editor in chief of a publishing house.

TIMOTHY MOORE, DDS put himself though dental school as a magician. He is not only skilled as a performer but also widely known as a collector. He may or may not show us his Germain Spirit Lock or the Doctor Faust Padlock he inherited. This will be an unusual presentation.

MARC OBERON- British born, Marc won the Blackpool (2005) prize and the title, "European Champion of Close-Up Magic." Look forward to watching this performer and see his award-winning act.

HARRY RISER- This is the same Harry Riser whose M-U-M column was filled with fantastic magic. He was a student of Dai Vernon, Charlie Miller and is an authority on Ernase. We-ll see some of that style. His new book "Secrets of an Escamoteur" has just been released. We will see some of the material that made his books collectors items.

February 15, 2006 - RG Smith, producer of the S.A.M. Convention Shows (July 12-16) announced the names of some of the Lecturers who will appear in Louisville. Gene Anderson presents his well known "Part Time Pro" lecture. Juliana Chen will share her card manipulation techniques, Losander brings his "floating" to the forefront, Jay Sterling offers his "corporate show" lecture, and Johnny Thompson will do two sessions as the Professor of the SAM University 2006 series!
