National Council Meeting
Photo Gallery

April, 2007

Assembly # 206 rolled out the red carpet for the National Council Members attending the meeting. After a Council meeting the group went to see Esther's Follies, a comedy and magic show on 6th Street in Austin Magician Ray Anderson stole the show with comedy magic and great illusions. The Saturday meeting was well attended with many local and other Texas members. Jann Goodsell and MI Andy Dallas performed the Broken Wand ceremony for Rose Mary Brigham. The meeting was productive and many serious issues were discussed regarding future conventions, membership and dues. Transportation was arranged for a visit to the home of Richard Garriott, who provided food, a Soiree at the Britannia Manor with tours of the fantastic house and his Victorian collection of magic and scientific collectibles, A birthday cake was presented to George Schindler, a mini auction was held with auctioneer Kent Cummins at the helm. All proceeds were donated to the Magic Center Foundation. Bertl Fredstrom and Richard Turner performed throughout the afternoon. An evening show was presented with emcee Cody Fisher featuring Doug Gorman, Hull Youngblood and Kent Cummins plus a dueling Cups and Balls Session with Dr. Michael Tallon and Doug Gorman.

Special thanks to Doc Stan Seaton and Ron Cartlidge for making all the arrangements.
