Magic Week Missouri, St. Louis Assembly 8
October 25th: Last Saturday at 1:00 PM we had a great fund raising Magic Show for St. Louis Senior Center and the Human Development Corporation of
Metropolitan St. Louis, St. Louis' Community Action Agency. The cash we raised will go to the St. Louis Senior Center and the food will go to
HDC's food pantries.
Steve Corbitt, John Apperson entertained the audience with feats of prestidigitation and of
course comedy. The kid’s reactions were as delighted, astounded and baffled, as were the rest of us. Why John could hardly get one young man to
let go of the pretend string holding his tassels, or was it the tissels?
For his finally, John Apperson attempted to levitate the St. Louis Arch. I couldn't top that but, I did perform a version of the 6 card repeat
with jumbo cards in honor of Steve Corbitt, who had to leave right after his show to perform yet another show elsewhere in St. Louis.
